About Us
Charles J. Martin is author of In The Town Where All Things Are Possible and We Promised Utopia: The Illustrated Novel along with eight other novels under the pseudonym Charles Martin & Will Weinke. He's the lead writer for the Glamorella’s Daughter series along with several other comic projects. He saved as a screenwriter for two feature films. A third film entitled To Make the World Quiet is in production after being adapted from his short story No Heaven. In 2010, Martin founded Literati Press Comics & Novels, a boutique book publisher dedicated to representing innovative genre storytelling in Oklahoma and surrounding states. In 2016, Martin opened a retail bookshop in the historic Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City, then helped found The Writers Co-Op in 2024.
Travis B. Hill is a professor of American history at Collin College, where his work centers on African American history and American religious history. Travis is also the author of over 30 different comic projects, including Thorn (Advent Comics), TechnoKnights (Dauntless Stories), and A Last Goodbye (Band of Bards Comics). Since 2021, Travis has combined his passion for comic books and academic research to work with political scientists, anthropologists, economists,
bioengineers, neurobiologists, historians communication studies faculty, public health researchers, human rights institutions, and the United Nations, assisting these individuals and institutions in creating comics and sequential art for their research studies.

Mark Pate is the illustrator of Thorn (Advent Comics), and co-creator/illustrator of the original series Rick Flash & The Adventurenauts. He has worked as Assistant Art Director on major motion pictures and TV series for studios such as Focus Features and CBS. Mark is also the Production Design Manager for publisher Mission Point Press, where he oversees quality control and project management for a team of freelance designers, and has worked in book design and production for hundreds of authors across various publishers. His cross-industry background spans film production art departments, comic illustration, and publishing design, giving him a rare, multidisciplinary approach to visual storytelling.
